Mishmash Musings

I’m happy to report that my flight went off without incident. We were actually on time from beginning to end, which is definitely an unusual occurrence! At any rate, I am now on vacation and am not able to get online very much, which is why you haven’t seen any new posts in the last few days. Although I do like taking time off to kick back and relax, it’s pretty hard for me to adjust to a new routine. I’ll be happy to get back into the swing of things on Sunday!

I’ll be flying this Saturday, which means dealing with O’Hare, which is something I’m definitely not looking forward to. This weather is causing even longer delays than usual, and I’ve read two horrific stories about different aircraft being stuck on the tarmac for 8-10 hours.

I am claustrophobic to begin with and can’t stand flying. If I ever got stuck on a plane that was just sitting there for that long, I would flip. the. f—. out. I’m not even kidding here. So obviously I’m hoping and praying for good weather. I’ve never flown in bad weather thus far; hopefully my streak will continue.
