Yahoo Photos is closing
I just got an email saying that Yahoo! Photos will be shutting down on September 20 and that any photos you have in your YP accounts must be moved before that or they’ll be deleted. Yahoo Photos pretty much became redundant once Yahoo acquired Flickr, so this announcement really comes as no surprise.
I have a Flickr account, but haven’t uploaded any images on there yet. It seems a bit complicated at first glance, so I want to wait until I have some time to sit down and actually get to learn what I can do with my account before moving my pictures over. Other people have raved about Flickr, so I’m not worried about liking it as well.
