Mishmash Musings

I just found out that an old classmate of mine is currently an Associated Press correspondent. I’ve seen his articles published on the AP website, as well as different newspaper outlets such as the Washington Post and Chicago Tribune.

This is very cool — and completely unexpected. After all, the guy didn’t display any journalistic tendencies when we were in school, never wrote for the school paper or anything like that. Then again, not everyone knows exactly what careers they want to pursue at that age!

Anyway, I’ll definitely be reading his stories every time they crop up. He’s currently covering the elections, so this should be good stuff!
