I usually don’t wear much jewelry, so I totally forgot that I had a heart pendant on today. I had it on when I went to the health club for my workout (stupid, I know), and it must have broken while I was there. All I’m left with now is a sterling silver chain, which I guess I can still use for something else.
It’s a good thing I don’t wear designer jewelry, otherwise I’d probably be freaking out over this loss right now!
I’ve been a Cubs fan nearly all my life, which of course means that I usually end up rooting for a bunch of losers. I’m not one to subject myself to that much suffering, so I like to follow other teams from around the league as well. But this can be a bit difficult to do unless I want to pony up a bunch of cash for a special package from DirecTV or pay for a season’s worth of streaming games on MLB.com.
So after checking around, I found out that it’s possible to watch free streaming MLB games on my computer. All I have to do is download and install free software like SopCast or TVAnts, then check various websites like MyP2P.eu for listings and links to live sporting events.
Apparently, MLB is trying to crack down on these free streaming baseball games, so there have been very few SopCast broadcasts recently. TVAnts is still going strong, however. You just have to go to the Forum section at Myp2p.eu to find links to the day’s games.
