Mishmash Musings

A friend of mine recently went on vacation to San Diego, and like most people who visit there, decided to cross the border for a quick trip to Tijuana. He drove his rental car over there, then like an idiot, left his duffel and stuff in the backseat — clearly visible, mind you — while he strolled around with his buddies.

Not surprisingly, everything was gone when he returned several hours later.

Fortunately for him, it was mostly just dirty clothes and a few trinkets he’d purchased before. He was carrying his important items in a Pacsafe hip pack, otherwise that trip could have turned into a nightmare.

I thought everyone knew better than to leave a bag in an unattended car in TJ of all places, but apparently not. Yeah, he’s not my brightest friend, but whatever!
