Dated T-Shirts
My husband is the kind of guy who wears nothing but t-shirts and jeans or shorts when he’s not at work. There’s nothing wrong with that, as I know everyone’s comfortable in different things. But I would prefer it if he would spend a little time and money updating his collection every so often, especially since a lot of his t shirts are from specific events and therefore have dates on them!
For example, today Jerry was wearing a shirt from a motocross event in 2004. A couple days ago, he was wearing something from 2005, and I also know that he has several shirts from 2003 in his collection. These are not vintage tees by any means. They are worn regularly, and show signs of wear and tear, so I’m not sure why Jerry has held onto them for so long.
I wear t-shirts too, but at least I go through every now and then to toss out the old ones and bring in some new styles. I wish Jerry would see fit to do the same!
yeah….as a 13 year old and not really a fashion consultant, I can still tell you he needs to get some new stuff. I live off of tee shirts — and although I don’t really update them on purpose, I am growing so my mom is on top of that (thank god). I guess its cool to wear an event shirt from the 40’s or the 50’s — it would be vintage, but sort of new — but old tees show that you don’t care to update your collection. My advice to you? Go and buy him some tee shirts and prepare to return some. But maybe, just maybe, he will actually wear some of what you bought.
