President Obama had his so-called “Beer Summit” with Sgt. James Crowley and Harvard professor Henry Gates last night. Vice President Joe Biden was also in attendance. Though nobody disclosed the details of the meeting, Crowley said that no apologies were extended, and that he and Gates have agreed to disagree.

I seriously can’t believe how big a thing this local, small town arrest turned out to be. Put that all on Obama’s handlers for planting that idiotic question about the incident during his health care speech, of all things. I’m so glad that plant blew up in their faces. Now maybe he’ll refrain from sticking his nose into things that shouldn’t concern the White House at all.

This whole thing was just asinine. Let’s hope this is the last we ever hear of it. (Yeah, right.)
