Mishmash Musings

So here I am, wrapping up the long Labor Day weekend by watching the Florida State football game. They’re playing longtime rivals Miami, and are currently trailing 14-10 at the half. It’s been a great game thus far. If Seminole quarterback Christian Ponder can get into any kind of rhythm in the second half, I think FSU will walk away with the win.

Remember back in the ’90s when this was the matchup of the season? Florida State and Miami used to be such great football institutions, but in the 2000s, it’s been all USC, Florida, and Texas.

Oh, well, it doesn’t actually matter to me who wins this game. I used to be a pretty big FSU fan, but now it’s all Mizzou. Go Tigers!
