I live in Woodbridge, which is the town right next to New Haven and Yale. I have friends that work at Yale, and it has been a pretty stressful week.

I don't think that the fact that Clark was at a hotel indicates he was thinking about running. My understanding is that he was being watched by the police and the media 24x7 for several days before his actual arrest.

I have no idea what goes through the mind of an alleged killer, but I suspect it would feel weird to go back to ones house after murdering someone, especially when your name starts to get out and there are police and media following your every step.

Anyway, I wrote about what things were like at the New Haven Police Department the morning just before Clark was arrested. I was passing by on my way to the train station. Stop by and read my blog post "Outbursts"
http://www.orient-lodge.com/node/3740 for some of my reflections.

Oh, and you might want to read some of my recent blog posts about jury duty. I'm glad I'm not going to be on that jury!
