Tweaked Ankle
I somehow tweaked my ankle during a recent jogging session. I didn’t step the wrong way or notice the injury as it happened, so I don’t think it’s very serious. But at the same time, it definitely hurts (even when I’m not walking), so I’m going to have to stay off it for a while. That means I’ll probably have to limit myself to the very low-impact ellipticals when I go to the gym for the next couple of weeks. I hate to break off my training schedule like this because the last time I did so it took me forever to get back up to speed, but there’s no way I’m going to risk further damage by continuing to run on a bad ankle. Oh, well!
