We’ve only been in our house for 10 years, but it already looks and feels pretty shabby. I guess that’s what happens when you have two dogs and a very active child running around almost constantly! At any rate, I would love to be able to make some improvements this year. It would be better to stay on top of things and replace/repair as needed than be stuck having to do a bunch of overhauls all at once.
What kind of improvements am I talking about? Well, we could really use an interior paint job to cover up some of the hand prints, paw prints, cracks, and peels that our current paint job exhibits. Furthermore, I would love to replace some of our old light fixtures with some more modern ones from Murray Feiss lighting to give the bathrooms a whole new feel. And we could definitely use a new dishwasher at this point, because ours is quite finicky about working when we need it to!
Of course all of these things take money, so it remains to be seen how many improvements we’ll actually be able to afford.
