Insomnia

I go through occasional bouts of insomnia where I just can’t get a good night’s sleep no matter what. This generally happens for three or four days once every month or two. When I go through those periods, I need to watch my caffeine intake and have a decent sleep aid on hand in order to even have a shot at catching some shuteye.

But in the past couple weeks, I’ve practically been passing out as soon as my head hits the pillow. I’ve been so damn busy from the moment I wake up at 6am to the time I go to bed that I can barely keep my eyes open after 10pm. It’s a bit odd for me to be this busy, but you know, I actually kind of like it. Knowing I have a bunch of things to do helps keeps me on track because I’m so worried about wasting time.

Still… there’s no way I can keep this up for much longer, so I better try to find a happy medium here!
