But of course that didn’t happen. I ended up spending almost my entire refund at some of my favorite online stores, where I bought a bunch of clothes, shoes, books, and DVDs that I’d had my eye on for some time.

The first of my purchases should be arriving in just a few days. It’s funny, but even though I’ve been shopping online for 10+ years, I still get excited whenever I see UPS packages waiting on my doorstep when I arrive home from work. I also have my utility knife out on the table in the foyer and ready to go so I can get the boxes open without fuss.

Yes, clearly I’m a shopaholic — but at least I learned to embrace that fact long ago!
